Yesterday Joey Yung was promoting for her new film DIVA. Her appearance is especially tailored for the film, and had sympathy for several of the scenes. Her acting has improved, Joey said: "My assistant helped me spot a necklace valued at 5 figures. If I have the opportunity to enter in the award nominations, that necklace would be put into good use at the red carpet. I feel my acting has improved, but still not up to award nomination quality."
Joey's interest for films has been growing and growing. She currently has a few scripts that are under discussion. Director James Yuen intends to shoot Crazy n' The City sequel for her, but it is unknown if Eason Chan will participate in the sequel. Reporters suggested Raymond Lam should replace him, but Joey seems to dislike that idea: "Huh? No right? If there is a refreshing feeling, that could work!" When speaking of the earlier incident where Vincci Cheuk madly touched Denise Ho's chest, Joey said: "Just playing, not a big deal!"
Chapman To displays the dark side of celebrities in the film. Before they started shooting and were still discussing, Joey started crying nonstop when she mentioned her hurtful incidents. Asked if her relationship with Meter Chan was the most hurtful? Chapman said: "That is her privacy, I don't want to a discreet producer. Joey is considered a female singer that grew up under hissing sounds. Her story is well worth to be told."
